What you’ll do
In this newly created key role, you will be responsible for creating and developing positive relationships within our portfolio of racetracks across Queensland to meet our required targets and business obligations.
Key Accountabilities:
- Implement Key Business Strategic priorities, pursue activities that support and aligned to Wagering & Media’s long term strategic objectives
- Achieve results through setting high standards operating with a sense of urgency
- Provide feedback on effectiveness of sales, operating processes and, recommending solutions to close gaps.
- Effectively manage call cycles and relationships for each raceclub
- Ensure the delivery of oncourse network BAU risk and compliance activities, and other initiatives as required
- Proactively drive and manage key stakeholder relationships through delivery of partner initiatives and growth strategies with CEO’s and Senior management levels
- Actively participates in the development and improvement of individual venues by working with the Sponsorship and Events team on Partner Club activities.
- Demonstrates sound understanding of financial drivers, demographic trends, the gambling industry, including competitive strengths and weaknesses, customer behaviours
What you’ll bring
- Large account management portfolio with experience in large and diverse territory footprints
- Proven successful track record in Account and Territory management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate across different audiences (including senior stakeholder groups)
- Demonstrable high level of interpersonal and organisational skills
- Experience in operational problem solving, both on location and remote
- Availably to travel within Queensland
- Flexibility to work to the racing calendar which will include some weekends and public holidays
