Parts Interpreter

C&H Recruitment is currently seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Interpreter to join their successful team.

In this role, you will play a critical part in our clients hydraulic and engineering works by effectively identifying and sourcing the right parts for our customers. If you have excellent communication skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a genuine interest in the mining, engineering, or manufacturing industry, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers, both in person and over the phone, to determine parts requirements
• Utilise parts catalogues and electronic databases to accurately identify, locate, and source required parts
• Provide accurate price quotes and estimated delivery times to customers
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to manage stock levels and inventory control
• Resolve any parts-related issues or concerns promptly and professionally

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter or similar role is preferred
• Basic mechanical knowledge – pumps, cylinders, and hydraulics (highly advantageous)
• Familiarity with parts catalogues and computerised inventory systems
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving abilities
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite.
