Address- Baking and preparing rolls, muffins, cookies, pies, cakes, croissants, Danish Pastry, scones, bars, Quiche, Tarts, Tartlets and other baked items
- Reviewing the production schedules to determine the variety and quantity of goods to be baked, checking and assembling of raw materials and equipment's needed for daily baking activities
- Weighing, kneading, maturing, cutting, mounding, mixing, placing, proofing and shaping the dough and preparing the fillings for the pastry
- Forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of the batches of the baked items like rolls, muffins and other items
- Icing, frosting, creaming, spreading, sprinkling, glazing and decorating the baked items
- Determining and monitoring the baking time for the items, oven temperatures and their appearance
- Using, emptying, cleaning and greasing the baking trays, tins and other cooking equipments and operating machines
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the cooking equipments and area and following the occupational health and safety regulations
- Examining and reporting any problems and needs of the equipments, food supplies and other unusual conditions
Qualifications & experience
- Extensive experience in the industry
- Good knowledge in all aspects of Food Hygiene and WHS
- Ability to work fast paced and under pressure to meet production demands
- A flexible, adaptable and hands-on approach, willing to work as part of a team
- Cert IV and above in baker
- Experience 4 years or more
