Who we are looking for:
The right candidate will need -
- 5years valuable experience for strong Pastry Chef
- Excellent English and communication skills
- A real passion for desserts and viennoiserie
- A positive and creative attitude towards their work
- Passionate and eager to learn from the superiors and pass it on to juniors
- Able to manage and lead a team by example
- Able to work a flexible roster
- Good understanding of dough sheeter work or make those cake layers flawless.
Roles and responsibilities:
The right candidate will be required to -
- Be part of a current team and work autonomously if you feel like you can lead the section
- Take the extra mile to deliver results
- Build strong relationships with coworkers and have can do attitude
- Produce a variety of desserts or viennoiserie following recipes, instructions from the head Pastry Chef.
- Products are unique and top of the range in quality, needs eye for detail and up most care.
- Manage work flow according to production levels
- Manage stock to ensure products are fresh and always able to meet demand
