Pastry Chef

The Ginger Group is Canberra’s leading local catering company, operating a busy cafe and large-scale events across multiple venues. We are searching for a highly motivated and qualified Pastry chef to join our energetic and busy kitchen team at the National Arboretum Canberra.

The successful candidate will have the following: 

• Excellent cooking skills, to be passionate about cooking and tasting food and be experienced in aspects of kitchen operations, production and service.
• 3+ years working within commercial kitchen operations 
• Qualified with Certificate III or Certificate IV and a Food Safety Certificate 
• Creative flair and commitment to cooking and producing quality food to our guests and clients 
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Excellent presentation
• Work within a team environment and the ability to work unsupervised
• Your own transportation 
• Full Australian working rights
