The Ginger Group is Canberra’s leading local catering company, operating a busy cafe and large-scale events across multiple venues. We are searching for a highly motivated and qualified Pastry chef to join our energetic and busy kitchen team at the National Arboretum Canberra.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Excellent cooking skills, to be passionate about cooking and tasting food and be experienced in aspects of kitchen operations, production and service.
- 3+ years working within commercial kitchen operations
- Qualified with Certificate III or Certificate IV and a Food Safety Certificate
- Creative flair and commitment to cooking and producing quality food to our guests and clients
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Excellent presentation
- Work within a team environment and the ability to work unsupervised
- Your own transportation
- Full Australian working rights
