ABOUT THE ROLE
The strategic objective for this role relates to managing and coordinating the activities related to female development, representative teams and talent pathway programs within Rugby WA.
The role will develop, support and coordinate a range of processes related to Rugby WA’s high-performance programming, including;
- Support player talent identification, coach and staff selection processes for regional, state and academy programs
- Related communications and logistics
- Design academy programs to foster the development of players with the aim of progressing them to the Western Force Academy.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships within our key stakeholders on matters related to the talent management programs and pathway teams.
- Support the upskilling and mentoring of coaches within the academy and representative pathways.
- Ensure the alignment of coaching philosophy with the Western Force Head Coach
- Manage the tour logistics, supporting process and communication related all female state programs, including but not limited to Perth Gold, U16, U18, Schoolgirls – players, coaches and support staff
- Collaborate effectively with Regional and Development centre coaches related to player selection processes, including the related communication process
- Collate, maintain and communicate team training schedules
- Collate data related to High Performance program athletes
- Development and implementation of new programs to engage new and existing participants
- Conduct regular program reviews with stakeholders to identify development and improvement initiatives.
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 2 years-experience in a similar development and/or High-Performance program delivery role within the sport and recreation industry
- Demonstrable success in program delivery and player development
- Excellent communication and customer service skills and a track record of successful relationship building within a High-Performance environment
- The ability to initiate, monitor and review projects and activities in line with organizational plans
- Demonstrated project management skills, including an ability to analyse, plan, monitor, evaluate and prioritize
