Patient Communications Officer

We have an opportunity for a customer service-oriented person to provide patient service and administrative support as the primary point of contact for Vision Eye Institute clinics in NSW. 

This role ispermanent full time at our Chatswood location.

**Previous medical/healthcare experience - highly advantageous. 

This a great opportunity to use your strong communication skills and customer service skills to interact with Vision Eye Institute patients and visitors in a manner that ensures the highest level of hospitality is experienced. Full training will be provided on the phone, our systems and in the use of our internal database.

In this role you will:

• Provide an outstanding customer experience to Vision Eye Institute patients and visitors.
• Respond to inbound calls and queries and resolve any issues in a professional and prompt manner.
• Manage all new enquiries to the practice to facilitate to patient appointments.
• Assist with all general enquiries and ensure that issues are satisfactorily resolved in a timely fashion.
• Utilize the patient management system (Blue Chip) and customer relationship module (CRM) when appropriate, to capture all relevant patient details and make appointments, consistent with practitioner protocols.

Requirements:

• Have an excellent telephone manner with good computer skills.
• Flexibility to assist in other administrative functions as required.
• Have a proven team playing attitude.
• Experience in the medical industry is favored.
