Role Highlights:

The main goal of this role is to ensure the upkeep and safety of the airport aerodrome, by undertaking construction and maintenance activities that ensures the safety and cleanliness of our airport grounds, pavements, roads, gardens and garden areas, drainage, fencing, infrastructure and facilities. Your responsibilities will cover a wide range of maintenance and Groundskeeping duties, including the operation of various different types of machinery and equipment to support the overall safety and operational integrity of the airport property.

About you:

• Relevant experience in construction or grounds maintenance role 
• Manual handling experience
• Have relevant industry cards - Building and Construction Induction (White Card)
• Current Driver’s Licence/MR licence
• A positive attitude, self-motivated and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Possess a strong commitment to safety
• Someone who enjoys an outdoor working environment
• Effective communication skills and good computer skills 

Eligibility: 

Due to the nature of this role, to be eligible for an appointment, you must:

• Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
• Meet the requirements for obtaining and maintaining an Aviation Security Identification Card. This includes undertaking a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test and a police background check
• Have a current driver’s license
