The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be part of an organisation dedicated to nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.
In your new role, you will ensure Transgrid's compliance with external obligations regarding superannuation, employment taxes, and other payments, as well as internal governance to uphold the integrity of our financial statements.
Your responsibilities will include preparing monthly and annual payroll tax reconciliations, ensuring timely payments of PAYG in accordance with ATO requirements, and managing the financial posting into Oracle.
Additionally, you will identify and analyse posting issues affecting financial integrity, develop solutions, and collaborate with the business to integrate payroll processes with broader organisational objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial principles, payroll regulations, and compliance, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, HR, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in finance management and payroll accounting.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, payroll regulations, and compliance.
- Proficiency in financial software, Microsoft Excel, and general Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism.
- Membership in relevant professional organizations (e.g., CPA, CA, etc.) is desirable.
- Experience with SAP would be highly desirable but not mandatory.
