Payroll/Accounts Receivable Officer

Van Damme Plant Hire are seeking an energetic and competent Payroll/Accounts Officer to join our team. 

The Role

This role plays a crucial part in supporting our finance team with Payroll and accounts receivable functions. Working within the finance team you will be undertaking the following:

• Payroll processing
• Accounts receivable functions, administration and reporting
• Accounts support
• Undertaking statutory obligations and reporting 
• Timesheet review
• Preparation of financial documentation for company records

The Fit

• Either a minimum accounting qualification equivalent to Cert IV Accounting/Bookkeeping or a minimum 2-3 years’ experience in an accounts role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effective time management, task prioritisation and organisational skills 
• Keen eye for detail
• Proficiency in Xero and Excel advantageous
• Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive documentation 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Positive attitude with the ability to work as part of a team
