Payroll Officer

Who we’re looking for: 

We are looking for an experienced administration professional to join our Payroll & Human Resources team, based in our Port of Brisbane office. In this role, you will use your excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with people at all levels across the BMD Group nationally. You will support the operational requirements of the business, using your attention to detail to deliver the end to end processing of BMD's weekly payroll.

Duties include;

• Receive and prepare times from field staff.
• Award and Legislation Interpretation.
• Enter data and transfer for processing.
• Systematically check finished product and amend where necessary.
• File and maintain all appropriate records.
• Update personal records as required.
• Liaise with construction staff and advise on awards where required.
• Keep up to date with changes to awards and Enterprise Bargaining Agreements.
• Process month end payments (union dues, income protection, redundancy funds etc.)
