The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll professional to join our ANZ Payroll team located in Perth. The roles are to support the Australia/New Zealand payroll processing and wider business.
As part of the Stantec Payroll team you will be responsible for:
- Accurate processing of payroll payments to approximately 2,300 Australia based employees.
- Maintenance of employee records.
- Responding to queries from employees, HR, and business leaders.
- Working with the team to investigate and resolve any issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications
About you
Key components of this role include:
- Australia Payroll experience, at least 2-4 years.
- PayGlobal experience or exposure to a payroll software.
- A sound understanding of Australian Payroll legislation including superannuation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills – with the ability to stay calm!
- Enjoy working with a team of people who like to have a laugh and can laugh at themselves.
An intermediate level in Microsoft products, particularly Excel is required, with a strong focus on attention to detail. If you have the flexibility and commitment to work under pressure and meet deadlines, manage your area of responsibility - then we want to hear from you.
