Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer for our client in Brisbane city for a fixed term contract until June 2025, The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations. This role requires a high level of confidentiality, integrity, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full end to end processing
- Calculate and process employee deductions, taxes, and other withholdings.
- Payroll tax and superannuation reconciliations
- Address employee payroll-related inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Generate payroll reports for management review and auditing purposes.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations.
- 3+ years’ experience as a Payroll Officer
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, laws, and regulations.
- Excellent technical skills with payroll software and time and attendance systems
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
