The Payroll Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's payroll system and managing the payroll team. Collaborating with both the People and Culture and Finance departments to ensure all employees are accurately and timely, this role requires the candidate to be organised and have a keen eye for detail to spot any issues that may arise.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Accurate and timely processing of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls
- Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information including new and terminated employee information
- Ensure compliance with government and company legislation, regulation ad policies
- Ensure compliance with relevant awards and legislation and prepare and review Payroll account reconciliations, maintain accurate account balances and detailed records for auditing
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of Payroll employees to meet operational requirements, including tam performance and training new staff
The Successful Applicant

- Previous (3+ years) Payroll Manager experience
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and relevant legal regulations
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable dealing with numerical data and excellent attention to detail
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
