The Role
Initially a 12 month fixed term contract, this role will be leading end-to-end Payroll function. You will be responsible for optimising the employee payroll operations and building key relationships with internal stakeholders. This role has a focus on continuous improvement taking full accountability of maintaining systems, process and reporting on day-to-day activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and oversee the payroll function, providing guidance to foster collaborative, high performance team culture while ensuring confidentiality of payroll operations
- Offer expert payroll advice to key stakeholders and peers, cross-training within the payroll functions across all sites and agreements for business continuity
- Create, modify and deliver training to leaders on time and attendance.
- Adhere to all company policies, processes and procedures.
- Perform regular systems audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity, conduct payroll reconciliations and investigations as necessary
- Contribute to continuous improvement processes by engaging and introducing inspiring ideas

Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Payroll with experience in both in-house and outsourced payroll. You will have strong leadership skills and have the ability to guide those around you.
- Proven experience in as a Payroll Manager
- Knowledge of Kronos UKG
- Understanding of modern awards and EBA’s
