Payroll Manager (Au/Nz-Based Remote)

The Role

We're looking for a Payroll Manager to join our growing team dedicated to managing the delivery of outstanding end to end payroll services to a diverse group of SME businesses who span many industries and states.

On a day-to-day basis you'll be dedicated to handling payroll escalations, implementing process improvements, and managing a portfolio of customers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. You'll be responsible for maintaining compliance, addressing client inquiries, and contributing to the overall efficiency of Visory's payroll function. 

We are looking for someone with a passion for all things payroll; who loves to get stuck into a problem and work to find the best solution for our clients & their staff. 

On an average day, you can expect to:

• Live in Employment Hero, Xero and the Visory platform
  
• Manage end to end payroll processing for a portfolio of your own customers
• Handle timesheets, process new starters, STP lodgements, super payments, develop payroll reports and complete other tasks that form part of the full sequence of a payroll function
• Manage queries and requests, engaging with clients and employees on the Visory platform
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly
• Analyse payroll processes and customer files to identify opportunities for optimisation and provide recommendations for technology adoption and document changes
• Work in partnership with the wider service delivery team including Customer Leads and Bookkeepers to ensure we are meeting SLA’s and delivering an exceptional customer experience

• Has excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail, thriving in a fast-paced environment
• Possesses extensive experience with Employment Hero Payroll (KeyPay), and ideally, familiarity with Xero and MYOB, and ideally has experience of delivering outsourced payroll solutions
• Holds thorough knowledge of payroll legislation, including NES and awards, and can autonomously manage deadlines and priorities
• Excels in communication and problem-solving, with a meticulous focus on accuracy, while also being a collaborative team player with a proactive mindset, committed to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends
