My Supports is a well-established, registered NDIS provider with over 500 staff across five states. We were founded in 2015 by two people with disabilities and a third who was a carer for a family member, we pride ourselves that nearly a quarter of our staff identify as having a disability and 70% have lived experience. The RoleMy Supports are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team!
In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll including managing leave requests, follow-up of outstanding timesheets, payroll tax liabilities and superannuation. This roll looks after the day to day queries as well as working on ongoing system improvement and implementation.
The role will report to the P&C Lead, who has oversight of Payroll and provide support when tricky issues arise.
Experience required:
- Must have payroll experience with Employment Hero and be comfortable to process pays in this system.
- Knowledge of state-based tax legislation and ability to submit payroll tax via online portals.
- Understanding of superannuation legislation and payment requirements.
- Experience in Award interpretation (SCHADS award is desirable, but not required)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Location & Benefits
My Supports operates nationally with a presence in WA, NSW, Victoria, Queensland and SA, and maintains a small national office in Perth.
This role offers a work from home arrangement, allowing the successful candidate to be based anywhere in Australia. Some occasional travel (1-2 times per year) is required. If you are based in Perth, we would like you to visit our Midland office on a semi-regular to touch base with leaders and staff.
