What You'll Do:
This is a comprehensive end-to-end payroll role designed for a workforce of over 120 employees, with plans to expand to over 200 within the next year. Beyond the daily payroll management duties, you'll take on the responsibility of improving and expanding reporting capabilities within the existing payroll system. Additionally, later in the year, you'll play a pivotal role in assisting with the implementation and development of Pronto.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone who thrives in an autonomous environment and is eager to shape and optimize the payroll function according to their vision. Previous experience in a rostered environment would be greatly valued.
You will be directly responsible for:
- Oversee the entirety of the payroll process for the employer and its affiliated entities.
- Establish, execute, and uphold accounting and administrative protocols for payroll management.
- Provide assistance in formulating annual operational budgets.
- Compile and submit Payroll Tax, BAS, and FBT returns.
- Drive enhancements in processes and seize new opportunities.
- Interpret various awards and manage Coal LSL lodgments
Who You Are:
You will be committed to delivering outstanding results and possess a minimum of 3+ years of experience managing standalone payroll, with a preference for demonstrated expertise in roster management.
