Green Light Worldwide are an IT Services Organisation who due to continued growth are looking for a Payroll Officer to join our close-knit Finance Team. Although and initial contracting opportunity, for the right person this could become a more permanent fixture within the Finance Team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in full end to end payroll responsibilities.
- Assist in processing payroll for 300+ including contractors and permanent employees.
- Assist in management of all superannuation, PAYG tax calculations, lodgements, reconciliations, and work cover renewals.
- Process and co-ordinate international payroll with payroll partnering companies.
- As the business grows, assist the finance team in designing better systems and process efficiencies.
- Manage and resolve all payroll queries from employees.
- An understanding of awards, salary packaging options and calculations.
- An understanding of general ledger accounts pertaining to payroll.
- Ideally, at least two years’ experience using ASTUTE payroll or a similar time-sheet system.
- In depth understanding of payroll which is consistently variable.
- Ability to work in a close knit team within a fast paced environment.
