Payroll Officer

Searson Buck is Tasmania's largest Human Resource company, providing Recruitment and HR services across the State.
Due to increased demand in the Payroll sector, we are seeking outstanding Payroll specialists in North & North West Tasmania who are open to temporary and/or fixed contract.
To be considered for this essential role within our business we are looking for candidates with:

• Experience in a Payroll position, processing large volumes of end to end Payroll, across a variety of Awards and Industries
• Proven experience in providing accurate payroll advice
• Ability to understand EBAs and relevant HR legislation and policies
• Accurate database management with the ability to provide extensive reports for senior management
• Excellent verbal communication skills, coupled with good interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn quickly and follow procedure with a systematic approach
• Exceptional attention to detail and sound computer skills
• Previous experience using payroll software such as SAP and Peoplesoft Payroll
