PAYROLL OFFICER
Far North Community Services Ltd. (Far North) is a Not for Profit, registered NDIS provider based in and operating throughout the vast Kimberley region of WA.

We are looking for a motivated Payroll Officer to join our Dynamic Finance Team .
The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- All areas of payroll, including superannuation
- maintaining employee entitlements including Annual Leave, Personal Leave, TOIL etc
- monitoring of pay classifications within the SCHADS and HPSS award
- Liaising with HR Advisors, roster coordinators and employees
- processing employee reimbursements and deductions (including salary sacrifice)
- review timesheets and process within the payroll system (Xero)
- Responding to employee queries in a timely manner
- Investigating and resolving payment discrepancies
- Provide excellent customer service
- Providing backup for Accounts Receivable and Accounts payable and willingness to fill in during periods of staff leave
- Working with the broader team and NDIS in relation to invoices, plan matters, service agreements, payments, and general enquiries, when required

Essential Requirements
- Demonstrated previous experience in a Payroll position, processing end to end accounts
- High level of proficiency with Xero or similar accounting software, Excel and Microsoft applications
- Excellent Organisation skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and people skills
- Willingness to learn and follow company procedures
- Disability service industry experience or knowledge of TRACCS would be well regarded
- A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than three months old.
