The Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for a part-time Payroll Officer to join our Finance team four days per week.
The successful candidate will join a well resourced team and will be responsible for processing onboarding, weekly and monthly pay runs with employee changes, leave processing, payslip distribution and subsequent reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain pay records, payroll reports and leave records
- Process superannuation, annual group certificates, group and workers compensation adjustments and authorised payroll deductions
- Process remuneration, location and other changes, records and pay relevant material prior to close of payroll run
- Distribute payslips on completion of each pay run
- Enter new starter details from our onboarding packs into HR3 payroll system
Skills & Experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of payroll procedures, organisational structure, Awards and how organisational policies interact
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills – Word, Excell, PowerPoint etc
- General knowledge of payroll processing and subsequent system use
- Completed certificate or diploma in Accounts Administration, Bookkeeping or Payroll Services
