Payroll Officer role within a progressive industry in the Sydney Inner-West Region Your new company
Your new role will be amongst one of Sydney's leading innovative service companies that rise above in the current market due to their unique strategies and prospects. This company is located in the heart of Sydney's Inner West along with onsite parking. A few changes are happening within the payroll team where an additional payroll professional is needed to contribute to the team for up until February with the likelihood of going permanent. You will assist with payroll team as they work together to meet payroll processing deadlines as well as assist the Payroll Manager with senior, adhoc duties. You will be working in a dynamic office culture with the flexibility of making the role your own as well as developing your skillset alongside the Payroll Team as the company itself grows.
Your new role
- Assist with 2x fortnightly payruns that alternate weekly across Australia and NZ
- Timesheet payroll processing
- Manual excel processes (limited)
- Leaves and terminations calculations
- Inbox and payroll enquiries
- Rostering
- Experience in managing small and/or payroll teams
- Comfortable in 'hands on' payroll environments
- Insights on T&A software and implementations (desirable)
- Excel advanced - know pivot tables and v-lookups
- STP
- Awards - hospitality, cleaning, security or retail (desirable)
- Confident in communications
- Here you will be utilising your skillset to assist a family business and in return will be treated as family.
- Your role will be spread evenly amongst managing all payroll duties as well as developing a new fresh team.
