About The Role
Reporting to our Payroll Manager, working in a team of 4, you will be responsible for assisting with the full payroll function servicing approximately 2800 employees.
Other key responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for Preparing, balancing and reconciling PAYG tax.
- Ensure payments to employees and staff are made accurately and on time.
- Identify, build and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Responding to pay enquiries in a timely manner.
- Ensure confidentiality while completing all payroll and implement up to date information on changes to payroll and taxation legislation.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the childcare industry.
- Strong Experience with payroll systems (iChris or Chris21 would be advantageous).
- Time & Attendance experience - Ento, Riteq, Kronos or other relevant timesheet-based systems.
- Sound understanding of Industrial Awards and experience in interpretation and application.
- Knowledge of legislative requirements in respect to PAYG, FBT, payroll tax and EEO principles.
