We are on the look-out for a Payroll Specialistto join our dedicated and supportive team based in Norwest. As the Payroll Specialist you are joining a team committed to giving our employees the best possible experience making sure you perform your Payroll function brilliantly.
This is a Hybrid Role offereing 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
As the Payroll Specialist you will:
- Be responsible for making sure that we pay our colleagues accurately and on time, in compliance with legislation, industrial instruments and company policies.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll deductions; not limited to tax, superannuation, employee deductions
- Prepare monthly reporting eg tax, leave and so on
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with legislation and group policies and procedures; including privacy, delegation of authority, ensuring appropriate employee authorisations for changes and deductions etc
- Communicate with stakeholders providing a timely resolution to employee enquiries
To be considered for this opportunity you will have:
- A Minimum of 2 years' end to end experience in a payroll processing environment-monthly and weekly pay cycles
- Experience working with Payroll Systems (ADP preferred) and time and attendance systems (e.g. Kronos, Mitre Finch etc) essential
- intermediate level Excel Skills
- Have exposure to an industrial award environment
- An absolute commitment to meeting processing deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy.
- An Understanding of privacy and confidentiality requirements
- Sound inter-personal and communication skills, with all levels in the business
- Commitment to high levels of client service
