Additional information:
- This role is Permanent Full-time 76 hrs/fortnight.
- This position is based in IKEA Tempe, NSW.
- The internal job title for this role is Unit People & Culture Administrator.
- You have the availability to work Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm (and occasional weekend or Public Holiday shifts, as per business needs).
About this work area
As the People and Culture Administrator your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring all People and Culture administrative systems are accurate, efficient, and compliant.
- Supporting the People and Culture team with the recruitment processes, such as preparing for and coordinating interviews.
- Oversee the co-worker onboarding and provide ongoing support throughout their employment, as well as supporting the offboarding process.
- Supporting the People and Culture team to ensure all administration tasks connected to employment law are completed in a timely manner.
- Providing support for first level HR enquiries including policies and procedures, enterprise agreement, leave entitlements, etc.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining an efficient uniform management system.
- Coordinate People and Culture content for various events and Co-worker recognition programs.
- Supporting the People & Culture Generalist with data reporting and other tasks where required.
- Other ad-hoc administrative tasks related to creating a great and efficient co-worker experience.
As the People and Culture Administrator you are/have:
- Passionate about People and unlocking their potential to contribute to business results.
- Dedicated to contributing to a meaningful co-worker experience and enjoy working in a vibrant and changing multidimensional environment with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Highly developed communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently to all levels of the business, both verbally and in writing.
- Sound understanding of Microsoft Office suite/apps (MS Excel intermediate to advanced level).
- Completely committed to confidentiality and at the same time have immaculate attention to detail and good analytical and numerical skills.
- An active listener with a keen eye for detail, who can multi-task and can remain calm and agile in the face of changing business priorities, will set you up for success in this role.
- Aspirations to grow within the People and Culture space and have previous experience in a HR or Administration related role.
