We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic People Administrator with a focus on recruitment to join our dynamic team.
The opportunity
Reporting to the Senior People & Capability Consultant, you will play a key role in providing operational P&C assistance to our national team in line with organisational plans, policies, and procedures. You will also support the Senior P&C Consultant with various projects and activities including employee and industrial relations, change management, training & development, performance enhancement, and reward & recognition. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about connecting with people, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Coach and support leaders to effectively manage their people
- Provide advice to leaders and team members on general People and Capability issues
- Coordinate the recruitment and selection process, providing guidance and support to the hiring team
- Coordinate the international recruitment process, providing guidance and support on visa nominations
- Manage the HRIS, P&C inbox, and ensure integrity of all records, databases, and personal files
- Prepare and issue employment contracts and relevant documents
- Maintain and conduct onboarding and offboarding processes including inductions, medicals, and exit interviews
- Coordinate the Training function and maintain the Training Schedule
- Liaise with the Finance team on fortnightly payroll
About you

- Qualification in human resources.
- Success in previous People and Capability roles.
- Ability to balance your workload and conflicting priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and effective at handling difficult situations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR Information Systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Proactive problem-solving approach and a willingness to adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in operating in an agile medium/medium-large sized business.
