We are currently seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and proactive People and Culture Coordinator to join the Carealot team. Operating at our Mosman Park office, you will work Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm.
You will be responsible for supporting the business in a range of human resource activities, involving onboarding, employee experience, recruitment, learning and development and policy development and implementation. You will be required to provide human resource support to senior management, ensuring the smooth operation of all Human Resources matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating onboarding processes, including preparing orientation materials, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring new employees have necessary equipment and resources.
- Maintenance of HR records and systems, including personnel files and administration
- Assist with employee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions.
- Assist with recruitment processes, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling and conducting interviews and reference checks.
- Provide support to employees with HR-related inquiries, including policy interpretation, timesheet and leave requests.
- Coordinate training and development activities, including identifying training needs, scheduling training sessions, and tracking attendance and completion.
- Assist with employee relations issues, including investigating complaints, mediating conflicts, and recommending appropriate resolutions.
- Keep up to date with relevant laws and regulations related to HR and ensure that policies and practices are compliant.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to support organisational goals and objectives.
- Development and delivery of new HR initiatives.

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot problems independently and escalate problems when appropriate.
About you
- Diploma/Degree in HR
- 1-2 years in a Human Resources role
- Good knowledge of Fair Work and Employee awards and legislation.
- Exceptional computer literacy and experience with MS Office applications.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills;
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to work autonomously.
