St Giles is a dynamic and multi-faceted organisation supporting people of all ages living with disability with a wide range of needs through a highly valued team of over 300 people working across the state.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the People & Culture Manager will be a key contributor to implementation of a performance culture with a focus on continuous improvement. Responsible for driving strategic operational priorities while supporting operational delivery of services.
As a key collaborator with the management team, you will oversee the entire employee life cycle within the business, ensuring that policies and practices are consistently applied. This includes areas such as performance management, rewards and benefits, and industrial relations. You will stay abreast of all emerging issues related to People and Culture and provide timely support to the business.
Ideally based in Launceston, though open to considerations in Hobart, the People & Culture Manager will lead a small team providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring and continuous professional development, as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in a similar role, together with excellent commercial acumen and strong industrial relations knowledge. Experience in leading and developing high performing teams and excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels is also required.
Full-time preferred- Part Time flexible arrangement considered for the right candidate.
