The role:
The Project Manager – People and Culture (P&C) will:
- Provide specialist advice regarding HR issues impacting on a project, or projects, coordinated centrally for People Services.
- Lead and facilitate the development and implementation of project work related to People Services functions, particularly payroll and recruitment, to support HRIS development and implementation.
- Provide strategic leadership, direction and support for the implementation of strategic projects.
Details of Appointment
Fixed term, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing ASAP for a period of 12 months
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
- Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $135,408 - $144,527 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

- Satisfactory completion of an appropriate course of study from a recognised tertiary institution.
The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

- crimes of violence
- sex related offences
- serious drug offences
- crimes involving dishonesty
- Identification check
- Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
