With the recent acquisition of XKG, a specialist defence consulting business, we are poised for ongoing growth as we continue to diversify our service and sector offerings.
As a result of our growth, we are now seeking an experienced People & Culture Advisor to join our P&C team and work closely with the Director – People & Culture to support the growing people needs of the business.
The position is highly varied and will require an individual who is agile and adaptable to a fast paced and busy environment. The key focuses of the role will be:
- Provide generalist P&C advice, to leaders and employees across both our business units across employee relations, policy and legislative interpretation and general day to day people issues.
- Support the implementation and management of cyclical people initiatives, such as performance reviews, engagement survey and learning and development.
- Liaise with Payroll to ensure the accuracy and integrity of P&C data.
- Support our Talent Director in our recruitment process (Eg; contract generation).
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding process in collaboration with our Office Management team, including conducting exit interviews.
- With guidance from the P&C Director, manage, support various employee relations matters, specifically performance management and disciplinary issues.
- Become the super user of our HRIS platform, Employment Hero and ensure the timely updating of data and regular reporting.
To be considered for this opportunity, we ideally seek an individual with the following;
- Tertiary qualified, with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role, supporting across the employee lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of current workplace legislation (Fair Work Act, Modern Awards etc)
- A proactive, can do attitude with a passion for providing first class P&C support to your stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail, and communication skills
- Ability to deal with multiple priorities, and dealing with ambiguity in a fast paced, growing environment
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
