The Role
Oakberry is looking for a motivated, experienced and problem solver People & Culture Manager to join our rapidly expanding food retail franchise business. This role is key in supporting our rapidly expanding franchise business across Australia.
As Oakberry's People & Culture Manager, you will be responsible for shaping our organizational culture and improving our employee experiences. This position offers an exciting chance to work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse, innovative, and passionate team.
What will your workday look like?
- Developing and implementing people strategies in line with Oakberry’s mission and values.
- Handling HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations.
- Creating a positive workplace culture and ensuring a safe, inclusive environment for all staff.
- Partnering with management to identify and address staff needs, enhancing engagement and retention.
- Leading initiatives for diversity and inclusion.
- Providing guidance on HR best practices and compliance with employment laws.
- Introducing innovative HR solutions to cater to the needs of a growing organization.
What you'll bring to the table:
- Previous experience in Human Resources or People & Culture, ideally in the fast food or retail sector.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to work both in a team and independently.
