The Client
Our client is a privately owned haulage logistics business with its Head Office in Western Australia. They are now seeking a suitably qualified People and Culture Manager to join their team and drive continuous improvement initiatives as well as manage the day to day requirements of the HR function.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, this important position will be responsible for building and implementing human resources strategy and solutions in line with the company’s business strategy.
Effective leadership of the HR function, in particular, drive the attraction and retention initiatives, culture change and development, legislative compliance and organisational governance, will be core to your success. This role will drive the growth of people and organisational capability through effective and robust talent management systems. The role requires strategic business knowledge and understanding combined with strong relationship management and influencing skills.
Requirements
A strong generalist with expertise in all areas of the HR sector is a definite requirement, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of five plus years experience in a related industry and a similar senior HR management role. Proven experience in talent management, cultural development and people management linked with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills will be required.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Business, HR, or a related discipline and ideally have some experience in the logistics or freight business.
