PEOPLE & CULTURE MANAGER ACROSS MULTIPLE BRANDS - RETAIL

This role is responsible for stores across multiple brands within the organisation and over 100 stores.
About the role:
You are a key contributor within the organisation and will directly impact the business as the People & Culture Manager. This essential position within our client's business offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience, fostering a positive and dynamic workplace culture within the company. Your responsibilities will include:
- Engagement: Act as a key business partner offering advice and support to cultivate a high performing, engaged employee culture within the organisation
- Develop & implement strategies for engagement, satisfaction, events, recognition programs etc.
- Talent Acquisition: Partner with key stakeholders to promote the employer branding, attracting top talent for the business, involved with recruitment, conducting interviews.
- Onboarding: Ensure a streamlined onboarding experience, and all essential resources and information are provided
- Identify training and development needs, supporting the professional growth of retail employees, collaborating with key internal business partners to deliver training programs that enhance skillsets and performance, career development.
- Performance Management: Processes and systems to monitor, evaluate, and provide employee recognition, ensuring managers are coached on conversations and supporting employees continuously
- Diversity & Inclusion: Act as the champion for initiatives within the retail organisation, ensuring all are included and celebrated.
- Employee Relations: You are a trusted manager within the business, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, policy interpretation. Address employee concerns in a consistent, fair manner, confidentially and professionally.
- Compliance & Policies: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Human Resources is imperative, Masters Degree advantageous
- 6-8 years of HR Management Experience within Retail, advantageous
- Understanding of HR policies, strategy and legalities
- Australian Employment Law understanding and exposure is essential
