The role:
The People Experience Coordinator in NSW will support the overall experience, training, development, recognition, succession, and talent mapping of our Team Members, both internal and external. This is achieved by working with the broader People and Culture Team by driving all People initiatives from the learning, safety, advisory and talent teams.
What you'll be doing:
- Coordinate onboarding new Team Members in partnership with the Talent Team and portfolio leaders
- Ensure new starters are provided with all relevant information relating to their first day/week
- Liaising with portfolio leaders and key stakeholders to create, implement and drive training plans
- Conduct progress check-ins with each new starter at key milestone dates to support success in their new role
- Support the Talent Team to facilitate internal recruitment
- Share people analytics with portfolio leaders to drive a positive Team Member experience
- Continuously evolve Team Member experience by identifying opportunities, addressing gaps and support in rolling out key initiatives
- Collaborate with the People Advisory Team on employee and industrial related matters, escalating as appropriate
- Conduct exit interviews and escalate relevant feedback
What we are looking for:
- No HR experience is required
- Must have Retail Management experience
- Tertiary qualifications (or working to) in HR or a related field will be highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage positively with stakeholders at all levels
- Knowledge of an HRIS
- Critical thinking, creativity, and strong problem-solving skills
- Exposure to WHS will be highly regarded
- Driver’s licence essential
- Able to travel interstate when required
