About the Role:

As a P&C Coordinator reporting to the National P&C Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our People and Culture Team nationally. You will assist with various P&C projects, recruitment and onboarding processes, systems management, employee training, and HR administration. This position is central to ensuring smooth HR operations and fostering a positive work environment.

This is a part-time position working 4 days a week based at our Homebush office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to general employee inquiries and support P&C Advisors in resolving employee concerns.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in our HRIS (ELMO).
  • Prepare employment-related documents and monitor certifications and licenses.
  • Assist with job postings, resume screening, interviews, and background checks.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, including paperwork and orientation sessions.
  • Organize training programs and track employee participation.
  • Support employee development initiatives and administer training courses.
  • Assist with surveys, feedback sessions, and recognition programs.
  • Help analyze training needs and develop training plans.
  • Assist in implementing HR policies and maintaining up-to-date documentation.
  • Maintain HR reports on key metrics and prepare reports for management review.

Essential Requirements:

  • Education: Certificate IV or bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, human resources, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in HR coordination or a similar role in a likeminded industry.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and HR/payroll information systems, excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
