About the Role:Working closely with Business Leaders within the designated client group, the
People Partner will support the implementation of business strategy from a people perspective. They will build organisational and people capability and shape and implement effective people strategies whilst supporting the delivery of workforce solutions across the full employee lifecycle.
Responsibilities:- Act as a strategic partner to Business Leaders, supporting effective workforce solutions across the full employee lifecycle, within the Corporate & Community Services departments.
- Coach and mentor leaders to enhance HR capability and improve business efficiency.
- Provide accurate, pragmatic advice on all aspects of HR.
- Support change management initiatives, including engagement with unions.
- Foster a high-performance culture through effective case management and advice.
- Plan for current and future workforce needs, emphasizing values alignment and accountability.
- Interpret and apply policy to achieve desired outcomes, advising the business as needed.
- Deliver regular people reports with trend analysis to develop and recommend solutions.
- Flexibility to travel to our sites when needed: Lilydale/Cheltenham/Morwell/Ballarat, this will be occasional.
Qualifications and Experience:- Well-rounded HR generalist with experience across the entire employee lifecycle.
- Skilled at interpreting and applying Pre-Modern Awards, Modern Awards, and EAs.
- Experienced in handling Employee Relations tasks like performance management, disciplinary processes, and grievance resolution.
- Effective in managing relationships with unions, recruitment agencies, and learning & development providers.
- Strong business acumen in the Disability sector to achieve organisational goals would be advantageous.
- High data literacy for interpreting dashboards and tracking key metrics.
- Strategic advisory skills for risk analysis, sound judgment, and problem-solving.
- Great at stakeholder management, influencing, and leading people across all organisational levels.
Requirements: A current NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check (we can support you through the process of obtaining one or both checks if you don’t already have them).
