Your Role:

There is no typical working week at Flybuys. But here are some of the things you might be work on, day-to-day;
  • Partner with our Technology department to understand their challenges and partner with tech LT to build high performing teams.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of end to end people strategies across the employee lifecycle including onboarding, people development, performance, and organisation effectiveness to support delivery of the Flybuys strategy.
  • Deliver people consulting and coaching advice to people leaders and team members to solve people and cultural issues, providing expertise in technical and regulatory aspects of employment including hiring, termination, performance management and rewards.
  • Assist in developing a organisational and position structure that maximises effectiveness and productivity underpinned by Flybuys strategy.
  • Partner with People Leaders to ensure team effectiveness and cohesion to ensure alignment of purpose, capabilities, roles, to achieve business outcomes and an engaged team.
  • Responsible for executing the annual and quarterly performance management process across Flybuys (includes objective setting, performance evaluation and calibration, process and results documentation, etc.)
  • Partner effectively with the tech talent acquisition function to ensure outstanding execution of talent experience and delivering on the capabilities and skills the business requires to be successful.
  • Delivers an exceptional Talent Acquisition and Onboarding experience that provides individuals with the information they need to be job ready for Day 1 and onward.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our Employee Value Proposition to enable Flybuys to attract and retain outstanding talent. This includes alignment to our customer value proposition, Flybuys strategy and marketing approach.
Your Experience:
  • Generalist people experience with a solid understanding of performance management, team effectiveness, line manager capability development and business partnering advisory support.
  • A solid understanding of the technology environment having partnered with a tech function previously.
  • Expertise in the design, development and delivery of organizational design and capability initiatives.
  • Understands and experience in how to apply people practices in an agile or hybrid work environment.
  • Design Thinking and Human Centered Design theory, experience and principles to understand employee feedback to use in design of improved people services.
  • Understand and keep up to date with legal compliance regarding all people related matters.
  • Experience in policy design, employment law and people governance.
  • Great understanding of talent and learning and development approaches through effective research and best practice identification.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influences others across a broad range of teams.
  • Ability to work autonomously whilst being an integral member of the People Experience team.
  • Pragmatic approach to deliver the best outcomes for the business and having the confidence to speak up and challenge senior leaders.
  • Authentic style and a proven ability to build great relationships and provide brilliant business partnering support.
  • Ability to utilise data to inform business challenges and to identify solutions to solve people related opportunities.
  • Collaborative with a strong emphasis on building and leveraging relationships both internally and externally.
