Role overview:The Permit Coordinator will be responsible for all isolation, tagging and permit requirements for the Process Plant in either a routine daily or shutdown capacity. This position will be imperative to maintaining the safety of people and equipment in and around the plant
Key Responsibilities- Carry out regular inspections of work areas to ensure correct isolations are in place and are functional
- Ensure all permits are in place and coherent with the work requirements
- Design, prepare and implement all permitting and isolation plans for shutdown and daily work
- Audit all electrical and mechanical isolations to ensure compliance
- Complete operational churns and facilitate isolation reviews
Qualifications and Experience- Trade Qualification or similar (Electrical preferable)
- Proven experience performing isolations and/or permitting in the Mining Industry
- Strong attention to detail and good computer skills required
- Previous experience within a Fixed Plant environment is advantageous
- Ability to work unsupervised and within a fast-paced team environment
- Previous experience with Intellipermit (or similar electronic permitting) advantageous
