Personal Assistant – Part time.
Culburra Beach Bowling Club is looking to appoint a part time Personal Assistant to the CEO. The club aims to support its members by providing a welcoming environment for the community to enjoy. The position is an on-site role that will provide variety and flexibility, in a dynamic environment.
As the first point of contact for CEO enquiries, you will have demonstrated abilities to manage up and ensure the CEO is across all actions and outcomes they require ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Club. You will also be supporting and facilitating the workflow of the executive and the board. Tasks may include minute taking, diary and email management, board report preparation, meeting organisation, drafting communications, organising travel, expense management, and other ad hoc requests.
The Personal Assistant role offers 15 hours per week spread across 3 days, 9:30am – 2:30pm. You will report directly to the CEO.
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 2 years proven experience in a PA/relationships-based role.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting a Board including preparation and distribution of Board papers.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting a CEO.
- Demonstrated experience in diary and email management for the CEO.
- Outstanding organisational skills including time management and prioritisation.
- Ability to work with high level of autonomy.
- Effective communication skills in written and verbal contexts.
- Ability to maintain a professional and reliable manner and be a self-motivated problem solver.
- Superior knowledge of Office suite including Outlook, Power Point, Word and Excel.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly.
- High level of integrity and personal ethics with a proven record of confidentiality, tact and discretion.
Desirable:
- Qualifications in administration or related field.
