About the Role:
As the founder and sole director of New Era, a rapidly expanding commercial cleaning company with a team of over 40 staff throughout Queensland, my involvement in various ventures demands a dynamic and fast-paced lifestyle. In light of this, I am in search of a Personal Assistant adept at navigating the intricacies of both my professional and personal schedules.
Given our company's swift growth, this role presents a substantial opportunity for advancement into positions such as Executive Assistant or Chief of Staff, as responsibilities broaden and the business scales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule Management: Proactively manage my calendar, coordinating personal and professional appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Email, Phone and Communication Management: Handle my email and other forms of communication, ensuring responses are timely and professionally managed.
- Communicating with the team: communicating with my staff and helping hire and train team members.
- Driving and Errands: Assist with transportation for business and personal engagements (valid driver's license required) and handle various errands as needed.
- Administrative Support: Take care of day-to-day administrative tasks, including but not limited to document preparation, filing, and data management.
- Event and Meeting Coordination: Organise logistics for meetings, events, and other functions related to my business ventures.
- Project Assistance: Support me in various projects and initiatives as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years in an assistant or administrative role.
- Skills: Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and adept at learning new software.
- Independent worker who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- High level of discretion and commitment to confidentiality.
- Licenses: Must have a valid driver's license.
