This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Australia’s leading schools in this newly created role as the Personal Assistant to Advancement Manager. This is a permanent, part-time role (4 days/week), based onsite in Toorak, with excellent flexibility on days worked.
Working closely with the Advancement Manager, your primary focus will be to assist in the planning, organisation and execution of fundraising appeals, Capital Campaigns, and other donor related activities to ensure growth of the Schools Foundation Membership. We are searching for someone who is confident in their ability to engage and build a rapport with donors, who is strategic and brings creative ideas to the table.
Responsibilities include:
- Administrative support to the Advancement Manager, including scheduling, meeting coordination, running donor reports and document preparation
- Work with the Marketing and Communication Teams to produce campaign and fundraising materials
- Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, sponsors and supporters
- Assist with the preparation of proposals and presentations for prospective donors
- Prepare and send personalised donor communications, acknowledgments and updates
- Manage receipt, acknowledgment and recording of donations and gifts
- Assist with fundraising events, including logistics, invitations and post event follow-up
- Regular reporting on campaign progress
- Experience as a PA/EA or high level administrator
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with a diverse range of people
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of fundraising best practices and trends
- Experience/interest in running events and flexibility to attend events after hours
- A current Working With Children Check (can be obtained during recruitment process)
