Led by an Accredited Personal Injuries Law Specialist, we focus on public liability, workers' compensation, compulsory third party, and insurance disputes.
About the Role
We're seeking an early career to Associate level lawyer experienced in Personal Injury law to join our team. The role involves assisting in plaintiff Personal Injury law claims under the guidance of our seasoned team. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in plaintiff Personal Injury law, either on the defendant or plaintiff side.
Part-Time Opportunity
This is a part-time position, offering three days per week, based at our Hendra offices with the option for remote work. It's a chance for a skilled lawyer to hone their expertise under the mentorship of an Accredited Specialist.
Responsibilities Include
- Managing Personal Injury matters
Preparing written advice and correspondence - Conducting witness statements and initial consultations
- Liaising with clients, courts, insurers, doctors, and third parties
- Drafting claim documents and instructing counsel
- Contributing to blog articles and case reviews
- Supervising support staff tasks
Key Requirements
Successful candidates will possess:
- Previous experience in Personal Injury law (MAIA, WCRA, and/or PIPA claims)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A dedication to delivering top-notch client service
- Excellent organisational and teamwork abilities
- Self-discipline, motivation, and problem-solving skills
