RAC Finance (RACF) specialise in market leading finance products and services ranging from Personal Loans, investment notes and property development finance loans.
What will you be doing? In your role as Personal Loan Assessor (Personal Finance Consultant), you will be responsible for providing valued services to achieve more for our members through assessing Personal Loan applications. In this decision making role, you will assess loan applications against RAC Finance Credit Policy to make responsible lending decisions within specified timeframes and delegated authority.
In addition, you will; Conduct member discussions (inbound/outbound calling) to understand financial information provided on loan applications to support pre-approval or decline decisions Proactively keep members informed of loan progress, outcomes and complete follow up calls to progress loan applications to settlement Analysing all data and complete necessary credit assessment checks, to ensure an acceptable level of risk, complying with all legislative requirements including the National Credit Code Achieve credit assessment targets in accordance with credit policy and procedure What will you bring to the role? Previous loan assessment experience is required (banking or finance industry experience preferred) Experience in a customer service role Strong communication skills Sound understanding of the national credit code, responsible lending obligations and Privacy Act
