The Role
The Territory Product Specialist will be provided with all the necessary tools, resources, and knowledge to achieve business targets through the implementation of sales and marketing strategies. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and have access to their own car for transportation to and from job sites. This role will initially start working 24-32 hours per week and we are willing to explore the flexibility of work hours for the right person. Occasional weekend conferences are a vital part of this role, and candidates must be willing and available to attend as needed.
The territory will be discussed at interview however it will include Melbourne metropolitan and strategic Victorian regional centres. Some additional travel may be involved as Lawley has a strong presence at medical seminars and conferences.
Responsibilities include developing and supporting existing medical professionals and seeking out others (utilising available target lists) who have a strong interest in hormonal treatments. These targets include Endocrinologists, Urologists, Gynaecologists, Sexual Health Physicians and targeted GPs. You will develop an understanding of our customer needs and tailor a business strategy to meet those needs whilst managing customer relationships and business through our CRM. A strong level of computer and communication skills is necessary.
This role is available for an immediate start with flexibility for commencement.
The Person
With at least 5 years selling experience in the pharmaceutical industry, you already have a good understanding of the pharmaceutical market and capable of communicating well with medical professionals. Pharmaceutical sales demands proficiency in clinical data and clinical oversight, with effective communication of medical terminology being crucial. A degree in business or relevant life sciences and business experience would be beneficial for this role. You will be able to demonstrate achievements in pharmaceutical or allied health sales with the ability to manage a territory including targeting, profiling, and managing customers whilst meeting your KPIs. The position will heavily emphasise post-menopause and sexual health. The ideal candidate must be at ease discussing both subjects.
