As a Pharmacy Assistant you will play a vital role in supporting our mission and ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmacy, specifically in the delivery of customer service in the front of store.
The Role
The role is an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistant willing to bring experience and energy to the team. We’re looking for someone to join the team who understands the importance of going that extra distance to ensure our customers feel special when visiting us and finding the right solution for their health needs. The role lends itself to someone with excellent organisational and communication skills.
The position can be flexible with hours ranging from 25 per week up to full-time, depending on your preference. We are prepared to be flexible and tailor the hours to suit the successful candidate’s knowledge, previous experience and availability.
What you would do
- Providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with prescriptions and over the counter items
- Assisting with some stock control duties such as putting away orders, ticketing and promotional set up.
- Assisting customers with beauty and cosmetic sales
- Assisting with phone calls to compounding customers
- Assisting with packing and preparing orders for remote customers.
Skills and Experience Required
- Prior experience in a Pharmacy Assistant preferred
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Self-motivation with a positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- A willingness to continually learn
- Ability to respond to pressure in a positive way
