Job Title: Casual Physiotherapist for Saturday School Sports Coverage

Position Type: Casual, Part-time (Saturdays)

Job Summary:
We are seeking two dedicated and experienced physiotherapists to join our team on a casual basis to provide coverage for school sports activities on Saturdays. The successful candidates will be responsible for attending sporting events, assessing and treating injuries, providing rehabilitation exercises, and offering preventative care to student athletes. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with young elite athletes in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend school sports events on Saturdays to provide on-site physiotherapy coverage.
• Assess and diagnose sports-related injuries promptly and accurately.
• Communicate effectively with coaches, parents, and school staff regarding injury management and return-to-play protocols.
• Educate athletes on injury prevention strategies, proper warm-up techniques, and self-care practices.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as athletic trainers and team physicians, to coordinate comprehensive care for student athletes.
• Stay informed about current trends and advancements in sports medicine and physiotherapy practice.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
• Current registration as a physiotherapist in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Sports coverage experience preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, biomechanics, and exercise physiology.
• Experience working with adolescent athletes preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Current certification in First Aid and CPR preferred.

Working Hours: Saturdays, [e.g., 8:00 AM - 2.00 PM]
