Our new clinic based in Kogarah has been purpose built with specialised, state of the art equipment so any therapist can use their full skill set when creating treatment options for the clients. We are proud owners of the SportsArt Icare, which is an end effector gait retraining machine, And Tyromotion Armadeo and Diego which are upper limb robotics leading the way for upper limb rehab. Although, the bulk of the patients we treat are neurological and complex disability, we also treat other chronic conditions and musculoskeletal injuries. We are also looking to start doing research with our client base and their conditions in the near future.
Job description
Physiotherapist Full – Time (38 hours/week)
Start date: ASAP
• Permanent Full Time (1 FTE) – Monday - Friday
• $ 75K – 95K per annum + 11 % Superannuation
• $ 500 per year professional development
• $ 3,900 per year car allowance
• Located in Kogarah, the heart of the St-George Medical Precinct. The role will be include a variety of clients within the clinic and in the community.

Chronic Care Allied health is looking for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to take on a rapidly growing caseload of patients. We have great bubbly and supportive team environment, all of us can learn from each other and there is no such thing as a silly question. Patients we deal with are predominantly neurological or complex disability. We see patients in our KOGARAH clinic as well as in the community at their home or local gym all over metro Sydney. Chronic Care is determined to be a leader in the rehabilitation sector and use exercise to treat the actual disease state instead of ONLY focusing on improving symptoms of the disease.

We are looking for someone who will be able to build a genuine connection with patients and truly care about their health outcomes. Being able to have these real relations with our patients is what sets us apart from the rest. You will be responsible for:
• Creating and supervising evidence-based exercise programs
• Supervise clients in 1-1 sessions either face to face or online
• Running group sessions
• Comprehensive assessments and goal setting
• Report writing (e.g., NDIS reports, GP letters, AHRRs)
• Administrative duties such as taking calls, diary management, scanning, printing, generating invoices etc.
Qualifications Required
The Job will be a part-time position. Successful applicant must have:
- At least 2 years’ experience*. Highly preferable to have experience with neurological and disability type clients. More than happy to consider otherwise for the right candidate.
