Due to continued growth & high patient demand Birtwill Physiotherapy is offering an exciting opportunity for a qualified and passionate Physiotherapist to join our team on a contractor basis.

Some of your key duties will include (but will not be limited to):

• Providing safe and effective delivery of patient care within scope of practice which includes examination, evaluation, diagnosis, planning, intervention and establishing outcomes.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Predict optimal level of improvement and amount of time needed to reach that level.
• Uses re-examination to determine whether predicted outcomes are reasonable and modifies as necessary.
• Manages own time and efforts to meet productivity targets.
• Prepares letters and treatment plans as required.
• Participates in program development, professional practice, and quality teams as requested.
• Able to operate modern clinic and office equipment (e.g. computer & phone).
• Process payments, schedule appointments if needed.

About You

To be successful in this role you will be a driven and energetic professional with strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to demonstrate your skills and experience as a Physiotherapist in a multidisciplinary team. 

You will require the following skills & qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
• Current AHPRA Registration
• Current Driver’s License (must have ability to work at both Maroochy Waters AND Coolum Beach locations)
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to work with a ‘hands on’ approach & prescribe appropriate exercise regimes
