The Role
This position provides efficient business support to the Town Planning and Economic Development department within the Regulatory Services directorate. This is a great opportunity for candidates interested in developing and building on their business support skill set in new areas.
In this role, you will coordinate administrative activities for the department including but not limited to providing advice, data entry, generating correspondence and documents for development approvals and building permits, adhering to required relevant Planning and building legislation, operating procedures, and policies.
Desired skill set:
- Preferable to have experience in the building/construction sector.
- Proficient data entry skills
- High level interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Teams and Excel.
- Familiar with the system, Synergy (desirable, but not essential).

Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:
- National Police Clearance
- Current 'C' class drivers license
